Shop is a platform that is owned by Shopify and they are giving away $5 in Credit to use on the millions of online stores powered by Shopify. Most online businesses use Shopify as their website for shops and retail stores. Some major retailers take pay with “Shop” cash as an option as well.

Here is some additional information regarding shop cash that should cover any questions you have.

Redeem your Shop Cash

You can redeem your Shop Cash at checkout when you place an order through the Shop app. While you can earn Shop Cash both on online stores that use Shop Pay, and in the Shop app, you can only redeem your Shop Cash in the Shop app.

To redeem Shop Cash on an order in Shop, your order needs to meet the following criteria: 

• The Shop store that you’re purchasing from is located in the United States, sells in USD, and accepts Shop Pay as a payment method.
• You’ve selected a shipping method, and the order isn’t for local pickup. 
• The purchase doesn’t include any gift cards, subscription products, or digital products. Examples of digital products include downloads, as well as package protection and insurance products. 

After you successfully redeem your Shop Cash on an order, Shop Cash appears as a payment method on the order receipt in the Shop app. You can’t redeem Shop Cash after an order has been placed.
