However, for many low-income families, the steep prices of computers and internet services are more than just hurdles – they are barriers, creating a barrier between equality. This divide not only hinders individual potential but also perpetuates a reoccurring cycle of inequality.
Recognizing this as a critical issue, we complied a list of places you can get a FREE computer online by simply requesting one, however you must qualify. You might have local resources in your state/area that are outside of this (so check there as well), however this post will only conclude places where you can request one online.
PCs for People is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the digital divide. With over 174,000 individuals served, they offer a beacon of hope for those in need. To be eligible, applicants must be 200 percent below the poverty line or enrolled in an assistance program.
