Know anyone that can use help with SAT/ACT? Well you can get them FREE virtual tutoring sessions at no cost from SchoolHouse.World.
Schoolhouse.world is a free online platform where people can both give and get tutoring help.
It’s a place where anyone from anywhere can join live sessions to improve their skills and then, if they want, help others by tutoring them.
The idea came to life when schools started online classes during the COVID-19 pandemic, and students worldwide were missing out on personal interactions and equal chances to get help.
Sal Khan, the mind behind Khan Academy, and his college buddy, Shishir Mehrotra, decided to tackle this issue. They, along with Mariah Olson, Drew Bent, and some volunteers, set up Schoolhouse.world to offer top-notch virtual tutoring at no cost.
Today, it’s a global community with more than 10,200 volunteer tutors and 68,200 learners from over 100 countries.
Their goal is to create a safe and fair place for hundreds of thousands more people to learn, teach, and grow together.
Schoolhouse.world operates on a simple yet effective principle: connecting learners with tutors for free, live tutoring sessions.
Here’s how it works..
In essence, Schoolhouse.world makes education accessible and equitable by leveraging the power of community and technology, ensuring that anyone, anywhere, can learn and contribute.
