We have some tough news for Frosty fans. The beloved Wendy’s Frosty Key Tag program is taking a “winter nap” and will not be available for purchase this year. This popular deal allowed you to get a free Jr. Frosty with any purchase all year long for just a few dollars. While it’s a bummer for a favorite tradition and easy stocking stuffer the good news is that Wendy’s plans to bring it back in early 2026.

How to Get This Deal

The Frosty Key Tag deal is a fan favorite but you’ll have to wait to get a new one. Here’s what you need to know about this paused promotion.

1. Normally you would purchase a Frosty Key Tag for around $3 at the end of the year.
2. You would then show your tag with any Wendy’s purchase to receive a free Jr. Frosty.
3. Unfortunately Wendy’s is not selling new tags for 2025. The program is on hold until 2026.
